This Image & Media Consent Policy explains how London Fashion Day® handles photography, filming, video, audio and related media content captured at or in connection with its events, castings, showcases, backstage activity, editorial productions, interviews, guest attendance and related public-facing activities.
This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Legal Disclaimer.
Purpose of media documentation
London Fashion Day® documents its events and related activities in order to:
- record and present the creative work of designers, models, photographers, media representatives, influencers, guests and collaborators;
- publish editorial coverage, event recaps, galleries, announcements and social media content;
- promote current and future London Fashion Day® events, castings, seasons, registrations and related projects;
- maintain an archive and historical record of our public-facing creative and cultural activities.
Media documentation forms part of the normal operation, promotion and editorial presentation of London Fashion Day® as a fashion platform based in London, United Kingdom.
How photography, filming and recording may take place
Photography, filming, recording, livestream capture or other media documentation may take place during or in connection with:
- runway shows, presentations and showcases;
- arrivals, guest entry, check-in and venue access;

Attendance, participation and acknowledgement

Ownership and intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, photographs, recordings, videos and related media materials created by or for London Fashion Day® may be owned by London Fashion Day®, Kostiantyn Lieontiev, the relevant photographer, videographer, media contributor or other rights holder, depending on the commissioning and licensing arrangements in place.
Nothing in this policy transfers ownership of copyright or other intellectual property rights to attendees or participants unless expressly confirmed in writing.
Participants, guests and collaborators must not commercially reproduce, resell, licence, edit, publish or exploit official London Fashion Day® media materials in a misleading or unauthorised way without the necessary permissions from the relevant rights holder.
Accredited media and partner publications
London Fashion Day® may work with accredited photographers, videographers, press representatives, magazines, digital publishers, broadcasters, agencies, partners and collaborators.
Where authorised, such accredited media and partners may capture and publish media content relating to London Fashion Day® in accordance with:
- their own editorial policies and legal responsibilities;
- applicable privacy, media and intellectual property laws;
- any accreditation terms, access rules or event restrictions imposed by London Fashion Day® or the venue.
London Fashion Day® is not responsible for all independent editorial decisions of third-party media organisations acting in their own capacity, although we expect accredited partners to act professionally and lawfully.
Responsible publication and editorial standards
London Fashion Day® aims to publish media content in a respectful, professional and editorially appropriate manner.
We seek to ensure that published materials:
- are relevant to the event, participants or platform activity;
- reflect the artistic, documentary or promotional purpose for which they were captured;
- do not knowingly present individuals in a false, defamatory or unnecessarily harmful manner;
- support an inclusive, respectful and professionally curated representation of the event.
We reserve editorial discretion over what to publish, how materials are captioned, and how our events and participants are presented, subject to applicable law and our internal standards.
Children and vulnerable participants
London Fashion Day® events and registrations are generally intended for adults.
If minors or vulnerable participants are involved in a lawful and approved context, London Fashion Day® may require parental or legal guardian consent and may apply additional safeguards, permissions, restrictions or review procedures before capturing or publishing media content involving them.
