On the morning of 1 May 2026, as London was only beginning to wake, a new chapter of London Fashion Day unfolded inside the historic setting of St John’s Church, Hyde Park.
Filled with soft natural light and shaped by an atmosphere that felt both intimate and international, the seventh season of the platform moved beyond the idea of fashion as spectacle. Instead, it focused on presence, emotion and identity – on the people behind the clothes, the stories carried through design, and the connections that exist beyond geography, language or trend.
Over the years, London Fashion Day has continued to grow as an international platform for emerging designers and independent creative voices. Season 7 marked a deeper conceptual direction for the project, presenting fashion not only as visual expression, but as a universal language – one that can connect cultures, personal histories and creative perspectives without the need for translation.
This idea was introduced through the season’s campaign, captured at sunrise in central London. At the centre of the visual story was Iranian model Amirsam Mohammadzadeh, presented in a look by Ukrainian brand YADVIGA NETYKSHA. The collaboration brought together different cultural and personal narratives, creating a quiet but emotionally powerful image of connection.
Through transparent fabrics that revealed the body while concealing the face, the collection explored the tension between visibility and anonymity, openness and protection. Clothing was no longer treated simply as decoration or armour. It became a medium through which individuality could be felt, not only seen.
Rather than chasing perfection, Season 7 placed authenticity at the centre.
As Founder and Producer Kostiantyn Lieontiev explained:
“No matter how much we search for perfection in style, trends, or fashion directions, at the centre of it all there is always a person – their individuality, their identity.
Clothing becomes an amplifier of taste – something that reveals what exists within us and gives us confidence.
This season, we wanted to shift the focus back to people. To who we are, how different we all are, and yet how deeply connected we remain through a shared desire – to live in one world and to create beauty together.”
Throughout the day, the runway became a changing conversation between aesthetics, identity and cultural expression.
The programme opened with the LCCA Showcase from the London College of Contemporary Arts, presenting a new generation of emerging designers. The season continued with runway presentations by Brera Milano, Anabelle Clothing, Amira, RICKY XTOPHA, Olimzoda Mahin, LEV3L UP, KEKA, Atelier Pardis, Mur Mur, Riri Couture and Gorsset – each bringing a distinct visual language and creative point of view to the space.

Yet the story of London Fashion Day Season 7 was not only found on the runway. It lived in the moments around it: conversations between designers and guests, backstage preparation, interviews, media encounters, content creation and the spontaneous exchanges that shape contemporary fashion culture.
Season 7 was made possible through the support of an international network of partners, reflecting the multidisciplinary and cross-cultural character of the project.
NITISI joined the season as Official General Partner, alongside COREBUD as Exclusive Partner. Additional support came from Trade Mark Wizards Ltd, Laura TIMM, To Do Business Club, AVGRANT Strategy Group, London Dental House, OFN – One Fluid Night LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, and Delora Digital Model Hub.
Beauty direction was created in collaboration with The Fellowship and Sasha Mamedova, while the educational partnership continued through the London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA). Hospitality and production support were delivered by PAYAVA, Lotus Realm and Show Empire.
International collaboration remained central to the season through Odessa Fashion Day, Fashion Academy Paris, and Global Fashion Net.
Media coverage was supported by a wide network of fashion and cultural platforms, including FASHION, FAB UK Magazine, GLAM Week Magazine, London One Magazine, London Business Journal, FOSTYLEN, Cool’baba Magazine, ML Business Magazine, Prominent Magazine, Studio of My Dreams, FASHION FRONTIER, Racing Fashion, FLICKER Magazine, IKON Magazine, ARRANT Magazine, BUT.IN.UA and filmmaker Dinara Ostr.
What made Season 7 resonate was not only the diversity of its participants or the scale of its collaboration. It was the feeling that fashion was being used to say something deeply human.
In a cultural moment often defined by noise, speed and constant reinvention, London Fashion Day offered something quieter and more lasting – a return to individuality, sincerity and emotional connection.
Not fashion as performance.
But fashion as understanding.
